Indiana University Health Arnett is seeking a full-time Pulmonologist for an outpatient pulmonary care position in Lafayette, Indiana, with no on-call duties and procedural opportunities. The role involves diagnosing and treating respiratory system disorders, working collaboratively with nurse practitioners and medical assistants, and performing endoscopic procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS. Employment Opportunity Details :

  • Full-time 100% outpatient schedule with 36 patient facing hours per week.
  • Days (Monday-Friday)
  • No call
  • Nurse Practitioner on the Pulmonary outpatient team
  • Active Lung Nodule Clinic
  • Endoscopic Procedural opportunities based on skill/desire
  • Up to 6 weeks time off per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient pulmonary clinic provider, working with APP and MA's in office setting
  • Diagnose and treat conditions/disorders affecting the respiratory system
  • Bronchoscopy, EBUS procedures available

Qualifications

  • US BE/BC
  • MD/DO Indiana license or eligible
  • Consistent and consecutive employment/training history
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide high quality patient care
